JASCH has developed a new Width Measurement System designed for accurate measurement of the width, position and diameter of both hot and cold rolled products.
The system is available in single-camera as well as multi-camera configurations, depending on the production line and measurement requirements. Different measuring methods can be used based on the application, making the system suitable for a range of industrial processes.
The system uses CCD cameras as detectors to capture the required measurement data. These cameras can be installed in a fixed-position housing for applications where the measurement area remains constant.
For applications where more flexibility is needed, the cameras can also be mounted on a linear drive beam unit. This allows the camera position to be changed according to the product or measurement requirement.
With this development, JASCH continues to expand its measurement technology for the metal and rolling industry, offering flexible solutions for different production setups and measurement needs.
